Film Lenses How Well Will Old Film Lenses Work On My DSLR?

How well will old film lenses work on my DSLR? - film lenses

I have some goals that the film would be very useful in a Pentax, a 70-210mm and 50mm f / 2 For this reason, I think the Pentax K2000, kilometers or the UK because it works with all Pentax lenses. Is this the work of the old lenses and lens digital (nearly)?

It should work with the K2000, but lose some features like auto focus. Visit the following links to view a complete list of compatible Pentax lenses.

Yes, it is also the reason why I will be fed over me, one kilometers. For a box of screws for mounting. I have the M42-PK adapter permanently integrated into the body.

Depending on the actual target may have the image quality can be better. Most lenses have more to be manually focused, but it is a validator for help from interest in the case. The measurement is possible, for all targets in the A mode should work. That is the sweetness with a Pentax.

Of course you can also expect on a fully manual mode as well as someone who has a Pentax.

Now he must do. Remember that the K2000 one is a 1.5 crop factor and the target is a 105-315mm lens. Lenses Seniors lose one or two things in comparison with the modern.

The surface of the lens on the most recent generally a little better
The new targets are "digital" and give more information about the camera. But that's not really a big problem, as we see some older lenses are really damn good.
And of course the old lenses are also becoming increasingly important, because they do not help the crop-factor. I mean here are the older lenses to make the whole picture, really nice, but it also means they are not as compact as the lenses of recent years.

But what are the benefits if you already know the quality of the glass and F2? Very nice! They also have some experience with the old glass for the obvious about the question of the role of culture, you get very quickly.

All Pentax cameras are compatible. All the objectives, the work, although some self-May lose focus / measurement. To mount lenses, screw (M42), you need a M42 to K adapter (about 10 on eBay). Image quality is not affected, even if you can easily change the focus

If you accept the new Pentax K-mount lenses can be used.
