Where can I find a cheap, light, small, low-end laptop for the sole purpose of word processing? Anywhere? - small light laptop
Something like a longer battery life, so you can take to leave the park and the whole day without death. I prefer to use a word processor laptop computers so they can investigate and e-mails. I'm SOL?

eBay all the way. Buy two or three years old laptop online and was corrected. Try going to a store and ask for something cheap, and your experience will end in tears.
Try Circuit City, Dell, and these bodies should be able to find what you want
Get a Palm TX tigerdirect.com has Bluetooth and WiFi and e-mail and word pross essing. prosessing the word costs a little more.
This is not a handheld Palm Pilot
TEST Dell are the best. You can get a custom product and tell them you need the laptop and has a reasonable price, and the job will be to love.
